How long do debit card transactions take to clear?
The length of time it takes for a debit transaction to clear is different depending on the merchant. You can monitor your debit card transactions 24/7 through digital banking
Can I use my debit card as credit if I have no money?
If you opt into and qualify for our overdraft coverage, Afena offers overdraft protection to cover expenses that exceed the balance you have available so you don’t have to deal with inconvenience of having your card declined. Contact Afena for more information and available options.
Is there a limit on how much I can spend or withdrawal?
The maximum daily ATM withdrawal limit is $500 ($200 for Smart Start Checking). The maximum daily purchase limit is whatever the available amount is in your account, up to $5,000 with a maximum of 15 daily transactions.
