This site supplements the information that you provide with information that is received from third parties (such as from credit bureaus).
Our credit union's mobile application may need to access information collected from your contact list, access to your photos for mobile deposit and location services. Your contact information is used to prepopulate forms when adding a contact in Bill Pay for the purpose of sending payments to people and businesses you know and trust or we will use your information to pre-fill a mobile lending application. You will be prompted by our application before granting this permission and may still use the Bill Pay feature without allowing access to your contact list.
When you download and use our mobile application, or online services; we may use your location and geographical data to offer personalize or relevant services like nearby ATMs and local branches.
Additionally, most browsers and devices automatically collect information including:
- computer type
- screen resolutions
- operating system name and revisions
- internet browser and its version
This information is used to help ensure our online services, mobile applications and website functions properly and securely. This information is not shared with any third party or used for any other purposes. To turn off this permission at any time, go to your app Settings on your device, and turn off the permission for Contacts, Location and/or Photos by selecting "Don't allow" for each service.
Children's Guideline
- Afena does NOT collect online contact information without prior parental consent or parental notification, which will include an opportunity for the parent to prevent use of the information and participation in the activity. Without prior parental consent, online information will only be used to respond directly to the child's request and will not be used for other purposes without prior parental consent
- Afena does NOT collect personally identifiable offline contact information without prior parental consent
- Afena does NOT distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information without prior parental consent
- Afena does NOT give the ability to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information without prior parental consent
- Afena does NOT entice by the prospect of a special game, prize or other activity, to divulge more information than is needed to participate in the activity.
